SAU Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Kyoto University Japan

Under the patronage of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Asimi Rector of SAU, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Vice-Rector of Postgraduate studies and Scientific Research signs a cooperation agreement for joint supervision in conducting applied research with Kyoto University. The agreement has been signed on 16/6/1435H, in the university’s pavilion at the higher education exhibition for international universities.

Dr. Saad Nasser Aldwayan Supervisor of International Cooperation Department SAU expresses that this agreement aims at unifying the efforts in biotechnology field besides making a plan for transferring this technology to SAU. The university aims to building scientific laboratories for biotechnology research. This cooperation agreement will facilitate these establishments. Dr. Saad Aldwayan added that the cooperation would also include; developing the bachelor program of biology; establishing joint research groups between Humanities and Sciences College at SAU and Kyoto University. In addition, the agreement allows faulty members and academic staff exchange between universities, holding conferences and meetings, exchange of the students for advance studies and scientific research; scientific activity exchange along provision of academic programs consultation.
