I welcome you to the International Cooperation and Scientific Societies Department of Salman Bin Abdulaziz University (SAU) and to the world of renowned universities and organizations of the Kingdom which are conducive and eagerly willing to maintain cooperative relationships with the universities and organizations of the world for academic excellence in teaching and research. The present world is transforming from conventional orthodox societies to a knowledge world which aspires and demands the cooperative relationships among the nations to upbringing knowledge societies. In pursuing this aspiration, Salman Bin Abdulaziz University is a step ahead to appreciate and welcome all collaborative efforts which yield knowledge enrichment and technology transfers.
International Cooperation and Scientific Societies Department is pursuing various initiatives in developing teaching and research collaborations of Salman Bin Abdulaziz University (SAU) students and faculty with the top ranked universities of the world. A recent successful start with signing program and service agreements with top US universities, SAU strives to join hands with potential educational institutions, networks and associations all over the world which can help its students for building better nation and becoming competent Saudi citizens. SAU encourages and provides for the opportunities to its students and staff to have global exposure through planned students exchanges programs and international communications. Primarily, the students exchange program concentrate on short term English enhancement programs which are to be attended by students during summer breaks.
Salman bin Abdulaziz University always nurtures its students' abilities to compete at international platform while experiencing a friendly and diverse learning environment in the campus. The long term collaboration programs of SAU demands institutional collaborations minimum for two years in order to contribute in joint degree program, research coordination, faculty development programs, technology transfers and infrastructure development initiatives.
